Hi Darling

Budget costings – for acquittal is it more prudent to ask for funding
ie: Item 1 @ 7000 Item 2@2000 item 3@1000 total $10000 from 3 categories
or as I have here
Costs across the category range…(because partners will not usually fund 100%)
Will grant maybe say – not funding licensing because it does not meet the physical activity criterea type thinking.

ALSO…
Can we help fundraising for dogcathome maybe, currently have access to Hotel savings cards 100-500USD
and Holiday (we shout the room cost)
We could do it as a promo for the Dance Co-op???

The SparkleArc pilot program will target youth up to 13 years of age in QLD.
While embracing the under-represented female participation in physical activity, the program has the added benefit of including all in a fun and inspiring way that has lasting outcomes.
The SparkleArcs pilot program will target up to 12 delivery points (a delivery point can have an individual person or 100+ persons, ie access to the screen/s the program is displayed on) for students to participate with “Expression of Interest Offers” rolled out initially to regional and other areas identified where this age group is underrepresented; including but not limited to:
Mackay – Darling Downs – Central Qld – Cairns and Hinterland – Metro South

The Binate – pilot program will embrace youth up to 16-17 years of age in QLD.
This age group is historically one of the most difficult to engage across the board, with complex lifestyle pressures from within their own growth changes, to external peer pressure.
The Binate pilot program will target up to 8 delivery points (a delivery point can have an individual person or 100+ persons, ie access to the screen/s the program is displayed on) for students to participate with “Expression of Interest Offers” rolled out initially to regional and other areas identified where this age group is underrepresented; including but not limited to: West Moreton – Mackay – Metro North – Metro South regions

The U-Can pilot program will embrace persons in care facilities within QLD.
Given the reported cost/medical burden of 20 000 medical episodes in Qld attributed to lack of physical activity across this group.    Additional high risk heart disease and long term complex medical issues.
The U-Can pilot program will target up to 15 delivery points (a delivery point can have as many persons that can access the screen or screens the program is displayed on) via “Expression of Interest Offers”
Rolled out initially to areas identified where this group is not engaged.
Recent events have highlighted the significant lack of ability for the current processes to ensure this high at-risk group is attended to or engaged.

The DanceABLEs pilot program will uplift all persons in care facilities within QLD.
Given the reported cost/medical burden of 20 000 medical episodes in Qld attributed to lack of physical activity, with an extraordinary percentage of individuals in challenging circumstance that do not engage in physical activity at all.
Added to their already challenging circumstances in most cases, the high risk of non-activity medical issues such as heart disease. type two diabetes is heightened.
The DanceABLEs pilot program will provide three in-person points to access community interaction with like minded persons who understand the complex needs and tasks involved in becoming part of any community.
The three points have been assessed as a needs-based proximity, with access to transport and facilities that can accomodate the intended user group.

– the 2020 survey report (90) https://www.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0019/1011286/cho-report-2020-full.pdf

More than half (56%) of children across QLD have been identified over the two year (2018 and 2020) surveys as insufficiently active across the board, with 48000 children engaging in no physical activity at all.
The significant risk-burden of non-participation in physical activity extends far beyond the foundation years.
Sparking a willingness to engage has a very high value in terms of both personal benefit and health burdens as they move through life.

More than half (56%) of children across QLD have been identified over the two year (2018 and 2020) surveys as insufficiently active across the board, with 48000 children engaging in no physical activity at all.
With 16 – 17 year olds having the least participation rate in any physical activity, with some 27% not engaging in any physical activity at all, of that number, female participation accounts for 8% less than males in this age group.
Lack of female participation was attributed to a range of limiting factors, including resistance to perceived aggression and potential pain.

Recent global events have highlighted the detrimental situation, those in care can find themselves in.
Given that lack of activity not only deteriorates body functions as a whole, the detrimental psychological burden has far reaching effects on health overall.
Limiting factors include, lifestyle, care ratio, time, engaging appropriate activities, personal circumstance and understanding of the complex personal needs to engage individuals.

The SparkleArc program incorporates a whole-person approach and will spark not only the love of movement, it will also provide the equity inclusion delivered back to participants at the end of the pilot period. The knock-on enthusiasm to include others is contagious.

Q8. What do you hope to achieve with this project?Importantly, include how your project will make a difference to the level of physical activity in your chosen group or community.200 words maximum

By engaging this age group in the inclusive SparkleArc pilot program, we aim to allow a new generation of movement to music enthusiasts a lifetime of activity.
Recent global events have significantly fast-tracked the acceptance of new ways of learning (eta was 2024). To this end, developing the pilot SparkleArc program will reach and teach so many more children in this age group to engage using the technology they love (i.e. screens) to take part in physical activity.

Across the board, focus on-screen activities have seen a significant drop in interest relating to physical movement.
Those who participate in required-material-participation-options tend to drop off as soon as there is no longer a requirement, eg: school sports, because there is no passion for the activity.

The specifically focused SparkleArc pilot program will allow all persons, of all abilities in this age group to find a unique love for movement to music via dance options. Encouraging and extending all abilities.

The SparkleArc pilot will allow R&D on the most productive way to develop the program for targeted inclusion. This new delivery method has the additional cost/time burden alleviation for families, allowing more ways to connect and be included in activities.

By engaging this age group in the inclusive Binate pilot program, we aim to inpspire the next generation of movement to music and sequenced dance enthusiasts with a lifetime activity.

Participants and providers will be surveyed for feedback

PRE- Tracking: Persons who choose the “Equity payment option” which entails a whole-person-dance-themed return:
i.e.: – Complete a task (eg: ability appropriate; 9 star jumps in a row, twirl like a dancer up the hallway, dance in your chair) then write a sentence/paragraph (of age appropriate length) on how you feel when the task is completed.
These tasks will be group specific and targeted as the Expressions of Interest are processed.
